Louisville Defeats Calabasas in Softball, 5-2

The Louisville softball team scored three runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat Calabasas, 5-2, in a non-league game on Friday.

The Royals broke a 2-2 tie on a single by Becky Long and added two more runs when Calabasas misplayed a bunt by Jessica Polacio. Louisville’s Colleen Morrissey did not allow a hit over the last three innings and picked up the win.
