Nakamaru Leads Cypress to Softball Win

Karen Nakamaru pitched a three-hitter and Cindi Ehlers had two RBIs Wednesday night to lead the Cypress College softball team to a 3-0 win over Rancho Santiago in the championship game of the College of the Sequoias Invitational in Visalia, Calif.
Karen Zupan added an RBI for the Chargers (21-8), and catcher Joelle Wilkerson was named Most Valuable Player of the 20-team tournament.
