A group of Cincinnati Reds owners has hired the accounting firm of Arthur Anderson & Co. to examine some of the National League club’s records, the Cincinnati Post reported.

The newspaper said the owners are unhappy with financial decisions of majority owner Marge Schott.

The Post, quoting unnamed sources, reported last week that Schott gave herself a $133,000 “incentive payment” last winter. Schott denied the report.
