Radinsky’s Contract Disqualifies Him From Baseball All-Star Series

Share

The biggest moment in Scott Radinsky’s life cost him his last appearance as a high school baseball player.

Simi valley High’s star pitcher signed a contract on Thursday with the Chicago White Sox, a deal that made Radinsky ineligible to compete in this weekend’s all-star baseball series in Stockton. Radinsky was selected with three Simi Valley teammates to compete in the Three-game series for the South team but didn’t make the trip after learning on Friday he was ineligible.

Radinsky’s teammates, Mike Hankins, Dave Milstein and Shaun Murphy, led the South squad to an 18-8 victory over the North on Friday night. Murphy and Milstein each had two hits and Hankins added one hit for the South.
