Gang’s all here-- Players and coaches of the Mustang’s, a Pony Baseball team from West Covina that went all the way to the Western World Series this year, take time out to demonstrate the togetherness that helped them get there the first time this level of ball was available to boys 9 and 10 years old. They were 13-1 going into the finals. Then they beat Citrus Heights, 5-3, and Richmond, 11-9, before bowing to Seaside, 4-7, and La Mirada, 4-1. Mike Lamb, right, was 9-1 on the season, including credit for a no-hitter against Monrovia in which he pitched three of the four innings played.
