With 1:45 left in the game, Oxnard’s David Davis stopped San Fernando’s Joe Maudlin on a fourth-down run at Oxnard’s 15-yard line. . . . San Fernando took a 7-0 lead with six minutes left in the first quarter on David Sals’ 65-yard interception return. . . . In the first quarter, Oxnard’s Wayne Jones returned a Tiger fumble 32 yards for a score. In the third quarter, Oxnard’s Jones ran for a one-yard touchdown after Brent Jacques recovered a Tiger fumble on the one-yard line.
KEY PLAYERS
Terry Smith (S) rushed for 102 yards on 25 attempts and scored one touchdown. . . . Wayne Jones (O) gained 60 yards on 15 carries and scored one touchdown.
