Prep Football Roundup : Cole’s 3 Touchdowns Lead Los Alamitos

Tom Williamson passed for 239 yards and running back Mike Cole scored three touchdowns as Los Alamitos High School defeated Kennedy, 30-14, Saturday in an Empire League game in Handel Stadium at Anaheim.
Williamson completed 20 of 27 passes. He threw for 23 yards to Cole for the Griffins’ first touchdown that tied the score at 7-7 with 9:13 remaining in the second quarter.
In Garden Grove League action:
La Quinta 45, Santiago 17--Derek Debbs threw for four touchdowns and 187 yards to lead La Quinta (3-0, 5-3) over Santiago (0-3, 1-7).
In nonleague action:
Capistrano Valley Christian 31, Army-Navy Academy 0--Greg Niednagle rushed for 61 yards and scored a touchdown to lead the Eagles (6-2).
