BOYS SOCCER : Matheu’s Late Goal Lifts North Hollywood,3-2

Francisco Matheu scored the winning goal with less than a minute remaining to give North Hollywood a 3-2 East Valley League soccer victory over Hollywood Tuesday at Hollywood.
Matheu, who had given North Hollywood (4-4, 3-3 in league) a 2-1 lead at the 60-minute mark, recieved a pass from teammate Elmer Guandique and kick the ball past Hollywood goalie Edgar Morales.
Cleveland 2, El Camino Real 2--Mark Ringmuth scored with 15 minutes remaining in the West Valley League game to secure a tie for Cleveland. Cleveland tied the score at 1-1 earlier in the match when P.I. Friberg scored. Cleveland is 1-2-3.
Granada Hills 2, San Fernando 0--Trevor Burwell and Peter Schindler each scored a goal for Granada Hills (2-2-1) in the Mid-Valley League game. Goalie Brian DeHaaff had seven saves.
