Prep Soccer Roundup : McKiernan, Millan Spark Estancia

David McKiernan and Miguel Millan each scored a goal to lead Estancia High School to a 2-0 nonleague victory over Central Union of El Centro Thursday at Estancia.
This game pitted Estancia, the 1985 Southern Section 2-A champion, against last season’s champion in the season-opening game for both schools.
Central Union entered the season as the second-ranked team in the Southern California Soccer Coaches Assn. poll. Estancia was ranked ranked.
In other nonleague boys’ games:
Dana Hills 4, Fullerton 0--Gabe Smith scored twice as the Dolphins gained as shutout in a game at played Fullerton College. Dana Hills is 2-0.
Brea-Olinda 4, Chino 1--The Wildcats scored three times in the second half at Chino to break a 1-1 tie and pull away for the win.
In nonleague girls’ soccer:
Mission Viejo 4, Esperanza 1--Kerri Kennedy’s three goals paced the Diablos to the win at Esperanza.
Fullerton 5, Katella 1--Gina Mazza scored two goals as the Indians scored a victory at home.
