El Toro High School swept the awards Sunday at the 29th annual Times All-Orange County football awards at the Anaheim Hilton.

Charger quarterback Bret Johnson, who passed for 27 touchdowns and rushed for 5 more, was named Back of the Year. Linebacker Scott Ross, who helped the Chargers become the county’s first undefeated team since Edison in 1980, was named Lineman of the Year.

Johnson’s father, Bob, was named the Coach of the Year after leading El Toro to a 26-10 victory over Santa Ana Saturday night for the Southern Conference championship.
