Of the nine players who have played much for Cal State Northridge men’s basketball team, only four have made more than 44% of their field goal attempts. The Matadors are shooting 43.4%, while opponents have shot 45.3%.
Paul Drecksel is the only starter shooting better than 50%. He is 26 of 51 (51%). Reserve Cliff Barnes has made 10 of 19 attempts (52.6%).
Northridge has been particularly embarrassed from three-point range. The Matadors have made 13 of 36 attempts (36.1%), while opponents have made 28 of 57 (49.1%). Drecksel has been the best of the worst for Northridge, making 6 of 13.
Conversely, Cal Lutheran has made 15 of 35 three-point shots and its opponents 11 of 40.
