What Really Counts Is Who Won or Lost
I only regret that when history recounts the Penn State-Miami game, it will use your story of Jan. 3 as primary reference material.
Haven’t you heard of defense ? D-E-F-E-N-S-E . Learn the word and understand what it means. Defensive games are not as a rule pretty. Furthermore, defensive teams win by forcing finely tuned offensive teams into making errors.
Penn State did exactly what it had to do to win the game. It’s too bad you couldn’t have been objective enough to see that, or at least have had enough journalistic savvy to fake it.
