Nine Golden West Players Sign Letters of Intent
Nine members of the Golden West College football team, including quarterback Eric Lawton, have signed letters of intent to attend four-year colleges.
Lawton, a first-team all-South Coast Conference selection, will attend Louisville.
Other conference first-team selections to sign were offensive tackle Darren Grudt with Texas A&M;, defensive tackle George Paddock with Mississippi and defensive back Rene Oliver with Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
Also signing were running back Ted Pappas (Washington State), and linebackers Brent Riederich (University of the Pacific), Kelly Stovall (Cal State Northridge) and Tom Glanville (Sonoma State).
