Community College Roundup : Brucato Leads Dons’ 16-9 Win

Bob Brucato went 3 for 4 and hit a two-run home run Tuesday to help the Rancho Santiago College baseball team to a 16-9 victory over MiraCosta in a nonconference game played on the Spartans’ field at Oceanside.
Nick Santa Cruz added two hits and four RBIs to help the Dons improve to 2-0. MiraCosta dropped to 1-1.
In other nonconference action:
Long Beach City 19, Saddleback 3--Pat Sullivan homered in the third inning to lead a 17-hit Viking attack, as Long Beach (1-0) defeated the Gauchos (2-1) at Saddleback College.
