Alta Loma Beats Estancia, 2-1

Jodi Hurst scored late in the second half to give the Alta Loma High School girls’ soccer team a 2-1 victory over Estancia Wednesday in a Southern Section 4-A wild-card match at Estancia.

Hurst scored from 20 feet off a pass from Heidi Heimbruch.

Alta Loma plays No. 1 Mission Viejo in the first round Friday.
