SAN DIEGO SECTION BASKETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS : Pt. Loma Girls Seek State Title

Point Loma High School, the three-time defending state champion, will begin its quest for a fourth straight title when it meets second-seeded Vista in the girls’ 3-A championship game at 6:30 in the San Diego Sport Arena.

Point Loma (30-0) has also won three straight San Diego Section titles. A full day of section championship action will begin at 10:30 a.m. when Holtville and Calvin Christian meet in the 1-A girls’ final. The 2-A girls’ final will feature top-seeded La Jolla and second-seeded San Pasqual at 2:30.
