Clark Tops Four Fullerton Players Picked to NCAA All-West Region Softball Team
The Cal State Fullerton softball team, top-ranked in the nation, had four players voted to the NCAA All-West Region team announced Wednesday.
Heading the team was pitcher Connie Clark, the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn. co-player of the year. Clark, a senior, is 29-3 with 219 strikeouts and a 0.46 earned-run average.
Also selected were Chenita Rogers, who led the PCAA with a .398 batting average; Rina Foster (.305) and catcher Michelle Gromacki (.302).
