Diamond Bar Plays Sunny Hills in Softball

Fullerton Sunny Hills High School will play Diamond Bar in the Southern Section 3-A softball championship game at 8 tonight as part of a doubleheader at Mayfair Park in Lakewood.
Diamond Bar (18-5) advanced to the final even though it finished only second in the Sierra League. Sunny Hills is 24-5.
Laguna Hills (24-6) will play Irvine Woodbridge (18-6) in the the 2-A game at 6 p.m.
Saturday, also at Mayfair Park, the 4-A title game will match Cypress (21-8) and Thousand Oaks (23-8) at 8 p.m. St. Joseph of Santa Maria (17-13) will play Santa Paula (20-3) in the 1-A final at 6, and Bel-Air Prep (20-2) will play Norwalk Leffingwell Christian (20-3) for the Small Schools title at 3.
