Keith Jarrett, Former Edison Quarterback, to Attend OCC

Share

Keith Jarrett, who played football at Edison High School in 1984, has left Boise State and will play at Orange Coast College this fall, OCC Coach Bill Workman said Friday.

Jarrett was the starting quarterback in 1984 for Edison, where Workman coached before he went to OCC last season. Jarrett redshirted a year at Boise State before he started as a freshman last season. Jarrett left Boise State because the school plans to use the option offense in the fall, Workman said.

Jarrett, who will be a sophomore, will step into a wide-open quarterback situation at OCC, which was 5-5 in Workman’s first season. Jon Nowotny, who was the starting quarterback for most of last season, signed a letter of intent to attend Chico State this fall.
