Mockett Loses in Trans National

WICHITA, Kan. —
Former U.S. junior champion Cathy Mockett of Newport Beach was beaten by Dina Ammaccapane of Phoenix, 1-up, in the quarterfinals of the Trans National golf tournament.
Mockett had defeated Robin Weiss, Palm Beach, Fla., 4 and 3, in the third round of play at the Crestview Country Club.
