Collins Leads Irvine to Volleyball Victory

Kim Collins, a freshman outside hitter, had 13 kills and 2 service aces to lead the UC Irvine volleyball team to a 15-10, 16-14, 15-8 nonconference victory over Colorado Saturday at Irvine.

Kris Roberts, a junior middle blocker, added 7 kills, 4 aces and 9 blocks for Irvine (10-15). Colorado is 8-19. The Anteaters play next at Cal State Fullerton Wednesday.
