Former world welterweight champion Donald Curry, 27-2 with 19 knockouts, will fight a 10-rounder against Rigo Lopez of San Diego, 19-5 with 8 knockouts, at the Reseda Country Club Dec. 8. Curry, who lives in Fort Worth, will be entering the ring for the first time since Mike McCallum knocked him out in the fifth round of a World Boxing Assn. junior-middleweight title fight last July.
