Mater Dei Coach Gary McKnight, who has only lost 9 games in 5 years, described his team’s performance as flat. The Monarchs, who trailed by 13 points at halftime, shot just 37% from the field. Although they narrowed the gap to six points, the Monarchs couldn’t overcome Palisades, which was led by guard Jamie Dudley with 21 points.
