Freeway League : Bach Scores 19 to Lead Fullerton in Win Over Troy

Pete Bach scored 19 points to lead Fullerton High School to a 70-46 Freeway League victory over Troy Friday night at Troy.

It was the Warriors’ first loss in league play.

Greg Wilbur had 15 points and Alan Lewis 14 for the Indians (10-7, 4-2), who outscored Troy, 44-24, in the second half.

Jimmy Bridges led the Warriors (13-5, 5-1) with 11 points.

Buena Park 85, La Habra 54--The host Coyotes (10-6, 3-3) outscored the Highlanders, 24-12, in the first quarter.

Kevin Graddy and Gary Hunter each scored 24 points for Buena Park. Hunter also had 10 rebounds and 6 steals. Graddy had 10 rebounds. Ed Perez scored 14 points for La Habra (5-11, 0-6).

Sunny Hills 61, Sonora 47--The Lancers had four players score in double figures, led by Marcus Hopkins’ 16 points. Brian McCloskey had 12 points, Jeff White 11 and Chris Drakos 10 for Sunny Hills (15-2, 5-1).

Grayle Humphrey led Sonora with 15 points.
