Girls' Basketball : Posey, Anthony Lead Hart Past Burbank

Kim Posey scored 10 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Nicole Anthony scored a game-high 11 points--all in the second half--as Hart High defeated Burbank, 44-31, in a Foothill League game at Hart.

Hart made 16 of 32 field-goal attempts; Burbank made 11 of 58.

The Indians improved to 10-7, 3-3 in league play. Burbank is also 3-3 in league play.

Kennedy 53, Cleveland 49--The Golden Cougars made four free throws in the last 21 seconds to clinch a Valley 4-A League victory at Kennedy.

Dawn Coleman led Kennedy (10-6, 6-0) with 16 points and Tisa Rush added 14. Kennedy has won 96 consecutive league games.

Chatsworth 51, Granada Hills 33--The Chancellors held Granada Hills scoreless in the fourth quarter en route to a Valley 4-A League win at Chatsworth.

Nancy Steil scored 17 points, Ericka Miller 15 and Juanita McLean 12 to lead Chatsworth (10-5, 3-3).

El Camino Real 80, Van Nuys 50--Kerrie Marshall had 19 points, 5 assists and 9 rebounds to lead El Camino Real to a Valley 4-A League victory at Van Nuys.

Melissa Guidi scored 14 points and Lisa Huffaker added 12 for El Camino Real (11-4, 5-1).
