Azusa Pacific Outslugs Master’s in District Play

The Master’s College tagged four Azusa Pacific pitchers for 17 hits but lost an NAIA District III game, 17-13, Wednesday at Azusa Pacific.

Tim Kane was 3 for 5 with 3 doubles and 1 run batted in for Master’s (1-2, 1-1 in conference play) and teammate Tony Ellis was 2 for 2 with 3 RBIs.

Javier Murillo hit a solo home run, his third, in the second inning for Azusa Pacific (2-1, 1-0).
