Toros Rally, Defeat Cal Poly Pomona
Cal State Dominguez Hills held Cal Poly Pomona to six points over the last 11 minutes of the first half on Saturday night en route to a 66-54 win in a California Collegiate Athletic Assn. basketball game at Dominguez Hills.
After falling behind, 16-10, the Toros closed out the half by outscoring Pomona, 19-6, to take the lead for good. Guard Darrick Clark scored eight of his 18 points during the run for Dominguez Hills, which improved to 5-7 in conference.
