CS Long Beach Plays at CS Fullerton
Cal State Long Beach, coming off a 79-77 upset of fifth-ranked Nevada Las Vegas, will play Cal State Fullerton today at Titan Gym in the regular-season finale for both teams.
Morlon Wiley made two free throws with one second remaining and finished with 22 points Thursday night in Long Beach’s win over UNLV, which was the third time the Rebels have lost in the Thomas & Mack Center this season.
Long Beach (17-9 overall and 11-6 in the Pacific Coast Athletic Assn.) beat Fullerton, 76-69, in January.
Fullerton (10-16, 6-11) has won four of its last five games after starting the PCAA season with seven straight defeats. Fullerton also won in the last second Thursday night when Richard Morton made two free throws for a 61-59 decision over New Mexico State.
