Newbury Park 6, Agoura 6--Jeremy Dewey kicked field goals of 32 and 21 yards to give Newbury Park a tie at Agoura.
Dewey’s 32-yard field goal capped a nine-play drive in the second quarter and his 21-yarder midway through the third quarter tied the score at 6-6.
Agoura took a 6-0 lead on Zac Miller’s seven-yard touchdown run in the first quarter, but Brian Jauch missed the extra-point attempt. Miller’s score was set up by a 50-yard run by Jauch, who gained a game-high 65 yards in 9 carries. Agoura’s senior quarterback also completed 4 of 8 passes for 26 yards.
Newbury Park quarterback Wayne Cook completed 16 of 29 passes for 141 yards with no interceptions and rushed for 62 yards in 10 carries.
