Prep Football : Lowery Sparks Trabuco Hills by Dana Hills

Trabuco Hills High School dominated Dana Hills, 30-0, Friday night in a nonleague football game in front of 1,000 at Dana Hills.
Sophomore running back Ben Rooker scored two touchdowns and quarterback David Lowery threw for two.
Lowery connected with Rooker on a 66-yard pass play for one touchdown and completed a 29-yard pass for a touchdown to sophomore Julian Ford.
The Mustangs (2-0) scored when Lowery connected with Ford with 9:33 left in the first quarter. With 1:14 left in the quarter, Rooker caught a short pass from Lowery and weaved through the Dana Hills secondary for a touchdown.
In the third quarter, Dana Hills’ Brent Gaut was sacked in the end zone for a safety with 8:24.
Tim Manning then returned a punt 52 yards for a touchdown with 3:56 left in the third quarter.
Rooker then capped the scoring with a one-yard run with 4:14 left. The score was set up by a 30-yard pass from Lowery to Jon Zegera, which put the Mustangs on the one.
