Burbank 14, Crescenta Valley 7--Tailback Bill Charles and fullback Tony Spatola each rushed for a touchdown as the Bulldogs rallied from a 7-0 deficit at Burroughs.
Cornerback Jay Sumner sacked Crescenta Valley quarterback Hyok Chang for a safety at the beginning of the second quarter to cut the margin to five. Charles’ 1-yard plunge in the second quarter gave Burbank an 8-7 lead.
