Now you see them, now you don’t.

Michael Wynn and Sean Williams, the San Fernando High passing combination that clicked for 4 touchdowns a week ago against Canoga Park, disappeared Friday night in a 20-10 Northwest Valley Conference loss to Cleveland.

The Cavaliers (3-2, 2-1 in conference play), behind 3 Sean Burwell touchdowns, came back from a 10-7 intermission deficit to dominate the second half, limiting San Fernando (3-3, 2-1) to 1 first down, 14 plays from scrimmage and 26 yards.

Wynn, who threw for a school single-game record 5 touchdowns last week, was 7 of 15 for 103 yards and 1 touchdown. He threw 1 interception.

Williams, whose 4 touchdown catches against Canoga Park also set a school single-game mark, caught 1 pass for 9 yards. He was shadowed all night by Cleveland’s Mark Mooney, who used the bump-and-run effectively.

Burwell scored on runs of 16 and 2 yards in the fourth quarter, the latter touchdown coming with 1:51 to play. He also had a 1-yard scoring run in the first period and finished with 96 yards in 20 carries.

The Tigers had 4 turnovers, 2 of which led to Cavalier touchdowns.

Cleveland scored first after a fumble by Maurice McFarland at his own 31. Burwell burst to the outside on the ensuing play to score on a 21-yard touchdown run.

The Tigers tied the score late in the first period when Wynn connected with McFarland on a 45-yard scoring play. Andrew Munoz tacked on the extra point, then booted a 44-yard field with 2 seconds remaining in the half to give San Fernando a 10-7 lead.
