CS Fullerton to Test University of San Diego
Cal State Fullerton’s basketball team will play the University of San Diego at 7:30 tonight at San Diego.
Fullerton is 1-1 after a 2-point victory over Utah and a 4-point loss to Pepperdine. The Titans have rallied from deficits of 13 points or more in both games.
Cedric Ceballos, a 6-foot 7-inch transfer from Ventura College, is averaging 24 points and 10 rebounds a game for Fullerton.
San Diego’s lone loss is to UC Santa Barbara, 76-58. San Diego (3-1) won the New Mexico tournament championship, defeating Lehigh and New Mexico.
The Toreros have been led by forward Craig Cottrell, center Dondi Bell, and freshman guard Gylan Dottin, all averaging in double figures.
