49ers to Face Ailing Aggies
Cal State Long Beach will play New Mexico State--which may be without two of its starting players because of a traffic accident--in a Big West Conference basketball game tonight at Las Cruces, N.M.
Guard Jeff McCool and center Steve McGlothin, who were hurt when the van in which they were riding rolled over after being struck in Fresno Tuesday morning, are listed as doubtful. Willie Joseph, another starter injured in the accident, is expected to play.
The 49ers are 7-8 overall and 4-2 in the Big West. New Mexico State is 10-6 and 3-3.
