All-Star Basketball Team Chosen to Play at Santa Barbara June 17

An all-star basketball team of Orange County high school seniors will play all-star seniors from Santa Barbara and Ventura counties June 17 at San Marcos High School in Santa Barbara.

The Orange County team has won the past two meetings.

The Orange County team will include Scott Campbell of La Quinta High School, Mike Frohn of Ocean View, Malru Dottin of Saddleback, Andy Thompson of Huntington Beach, Carlos Palomino of Los Amigos, Khari Johnson of El Toro, Mike Curtis of Estancia, Bill Mazurie of Capistrano Valley, Dylan Rigdon of Mater Dei, Robby Pietsch of El Modena and Craig Marshall of Saddleback.

Paul Hoover, who coaches at Marina, will coach the team.

Campbell will attend Cal State Fullerton next fall, Johnson, Rigdon and Marshall will attend UC Irvine, Mazurie will attend Cal State Northridge, Thompson will attend Hawaii and Dottin will attend North Carolina Charlotte.
