Kane Joins Calabasas High Football Staff

Kevin Kane, the varsity football coach at St. Genevieve High last season, has been named an assistant football coach at Calabasas High.
Calabasas was 2-8 in football last season; St. Genevieve was 1-8.
Kane compiled a two-year record of 29-13-1 as varsity baseball coach at the Panorama City school and led the Valiants to the Santa Fe League title in 1988. But Calabasas Athletic Director John Reich gave the impression that Kane would not be involved with the Coyote baseball program.
“Bob Wade is the baseball coach and he’ll remain the coach,” Reich said. “Kevin’s job description does not include anything about baseball.”
Kane will join the Calabasas faculty as a full-time teacher.
