Woodland Hills Team in National Tournament

The Woodland Hills Astros will take a 26-8 record into the first round of play today in the U. S. Open semipro baseball tournament in Ontario. The Astros, coming off a victory in the Stan Musial tournament at Cal State Los Angeles last week, will meet Daly City at noon at John Galvin Field.

The Astros will play the Fairbanks, Alaska, entry Tuesday morning in the second game of bracket play. Each team will play five games in bracket play. The three bracket champions, as well as the next best team, will advance to a round-robin championship round next weekend.
