Carvalho Scores Four Times, Leads Dana Hills Rout

Dana Hills dumped visiting Laguna Beach, 31-6, with running back Matt Carvalho scoring four touchdowns Friday.

Carvalho, who pick up 113 yards on 12 carries, scored on runs of three, one, nine and 43 yards.

Dana Hills (3-0) led at halftime, 31-0, and substituted frequently in the second half.

Laguna Hills punting figured prominently in the game with Dana Hills scores coming as a result of a blocked punt and after a minus-one yard punt.

Laguna Hills (0-3) went 80 yards on 13 plays for its only score in the fourth quarter. The touchdown came on a seven-yard pass from quarterback Aaron Scheid to Eric Spraker.
