Hart 38, Quartz Hill 6--Howard Blackwell scored four touchdowns, including three in the Indians’ 25-point second quarter, to lead Hart (4-1) at College of the Canyons.

Blackwell scored on runs of seven and nine yards and caught a 47-yard pass from quarterback Rob Westervelt as Hart rolled to a 32-0 halftime lead. Blackwell, who carried the ball nine times for 58 yards, also scored on a nine-yard run in the third quarter.

Westervelt completed 17 of 27 for 250 yards and two touchdowns in little more than a half.

Hart limited Quartz Hill (2-3) to six yards rushing and 45 yards in total offense in the first half. The Rebels’ only score came when quarterback Kendial Armstrong connected with Jesse Oggs on a 32-yard play with 10:27 remaining.
