Belmont 19, Verdugo Hills 0--Running back Tjah Evans rushed for 107 yards in 16 carries and visiting Belmont limited Verdugo Hills (1-3, 1-1) to 131 total yards.

Belmont (2-2, 1-1) scored five points within 26 seconds in the first quarter. Roberto Sosa kicked a 32-yard field goal and on the second play after the kickoff Belmont’s Juan Ramirez and Saul Martinez tackled Noel Alvarado in the end zone for a safety.

Belmont (2-2, 1-1) expanded a 5-0 halftime lead to 12-0 on Gino Contreras’ three-yard run. The Sentinels completed the scoring on a one-yard run by Julio Padilla in the fourth quarter.
