Taft 30, Canoga Park 14--Running back Steve Lockridge scored two touchdowns and Taft (3-4, 2-3) held Canoga Park (1-6, 1-4) scoreless for the first three quarters of their game at Taft.

Lockridge’s touchdowns came on a 28-yard run in the second quarter and a 14-yard run in the third period. He finished with 103 yards in 10 carries.

Trailing, 24-0, after three quarters, Canoga Park got on the scoreboard in the final 12 minutes on two touchdown passes by quarterback David Erhardt. He threw a five-yard score to Scott Byrd and a 65-yarder to Bobby Hines. Erhardt completed 11 of 23 passes for 144 yards with two interceptions.
