Santa Barbara 44, Crescenta Valley 7--Defensive end Colby Bogust picked a Santa Barbara fumble out of the air and returned it 57 yards in the first quarter for a Crescenta Valley touchdown and the Falcons’ only bright spot.
Santa Barbara (10-1) proceeded to score 44 unanswered points.
Pancho Renteria completed 10 of 14 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 22 yards and another score. Crescenta Valley (6-5) was limited to minus-4 yards in total offense in the first half and turned the ball over five times in the game.
