South Gate 20, Reseda 19--South Gate tailback Ivan Wilson rushed for 188 yards in 23 carries and scored two touchdowns, including a game-winning 13-yard run with 6:25 remaining, as South Gate (9-0-1) overcame a 19-6 halftime deficit at home.

Reseda’s Chris Kates returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown, but the Regents (5-3-2) managed just 142 total yards. Joe Tushnet led Reseda rushers with 68 yards in 11 carries and quarterback Andre Jackson completed four of five for 21 yards.

In the first half, Wilson scored his first touchdown on a three-yard run. Reseda responded with an 18-yard touchdown run by Jackson and a 22-yard field goal by Tushnet. South Gate came back in the third quarter, however, when Carlos Martinez scored on a seven-yard keeper to pull the Rams within 19-13.
