Price of Keeping Raiders Is Too High
My wife, my son and I, sports buffs all, are now quite ready for Al Davis to pack up his financial circus and ply his con in another area. The Chavez Ravine deal made the Dodgers the richest team in baseball. Should a Coliseum deal do the same for the Raiders? One big giveaway per city seems enough.
It would be nice if Los Angeles could somehow retain the rights to the estimable Marcus and Bo, but Davis should be invited to whine poor as much as he likes--in some other town.
