In another City Central League game:

Crawford 61, Madison 58--Tito Singleton scored 22 points to lead Crawford (14-4, 2-0). John McKenna had 24 for Madison (1-17, 0-3).

Avocado League

San Pasqual 65, Oceanside 44--After trailing, 35-27, at the half, No. 9 San Pasqual, led by center Erik Meek, came out and scored the first 12 points of the third quarter and never trailed again. Host Oceanside did not score its first points of the third quarter until five minutes were gone. Meek, who finished with 29 points, 14 rebounds and eight blocks, scored eight of his points in the 12-0 run. Oceanside was led by Jerry Garrett with 18 points, but he had just five in the second half and was two of 12 from the field in the second half. Meek scored San Pasqual’s first five points of the fourth quarter as the Eagles took a 52-41 lead. San Pasqual then scored the next nine points to put the game away. Bryan Banner added 10 points for San Pasqual.

Carlsbad 96, San Marcos 75--Jason Brandt scored 16 points and Mark Tague had 15 to lead host Carlsbad (5-10, 2-3). Pat Griffith had 21 for San Marcos (1-14, 0-5).

El Camino 86, Escondido 58--Glenn Ankton scored 26 points and Dee Boyer added 18 to lead No. 10 El Camino (13-6, 5-0) at Escondido. Damien Cephas led Escondido (4-9, 2-4) with 16 points.

Grossmont 3-A League

Monte Vista 89, Mt. Miguel 74--Joe McNaull had 28 points and 25 rebounds and Jeff Polinsky added 24 points and eight assists to lead Monte Vista (10-6, 2-0) at home. Shannon LeFever scored 25 to lead Mt. Miguel (11-5, 1-1).

Grossmont 2-A League

Valhalla 87, West Hills 45--Mike Nalu scored 28 and Bryan Voshell added 18 for visiting Valhalla (12-0, 2-0). Mike Campbell had 10 points for West Hills (0-12, 0-2).

Santana 53, El Cajon 41--Robert Ervin scored 14 and Ken Ervin 13 to lead Santana (3-13, 1-0). Gill Velasco scored a game-high 31 points to lead El Cajon (2-14, 1-1).

City Eastern League

Mira Mesa 71, Serra 54--Marc Ziegler had 12 points and 10 rebounds for No. 8 Mira Mesa (12-6, 2-0). J.J. Rowlett scored 13 points, and Kal Chatham and Shed Smith added 10 apiece. Serra is 7-8, 0-2.

City Western League

Kearny 48, Mission Bay 37--Darnay Scott led Kearny (12-6, 1-1) with 14. Gebel Anderson had a game-high 16 for Mission Bay (2-11, 0-2).

City Harbor League

St. Augustine 82, Marian Catholic 57--Bryan Cantwell scored a game-high 28 points and had 11 rebounds to lead St. Augustine (12-7, 2-1). Paul Mossuto added 22. Jeff Hays had 19 points for Marian (7-7, 0-2).

Metro Conference

Hilltop 73, Mar Vista 62--Hilltop led 50-26 at halftime and cruised to the victory at Mar Vista. Carlos Marcus had 18 points to lead Hilltop and Elisha Burns had 18 to lead Mar Vista 2-16, 1-7).

Castle Park 54, Southwest 47--Eric Bell scored a game-high 16 points to lead Castle Park (8-9, 5-3). Devin Patterson scored 12 for Southwest (6-14, 2-6).

Bonita Vista 108, Montgomery 72--Brian Clark scored 23 points for Bonita Vista (11-6, 6-2), which led, 33-16, after the first quarter. Lesley Shaw had a game-high 31 for Montgomery (2-14, 0-8).

Palomar League

Poway 55, Fallbrook 53--No. 4 Poway (12-3, 3-3) took its first lead with 19 seconds remaining when Mark Wuchner hit a pair of free throws. Gregg Sorrell had a team-high 13 for Poway, which trailed, 21-8, after the first quarter. Fallbrook (13-5, 4-2) was led by Travis Teagle, who scored 22 points.

Mt. Carmel 82, Rancho Buena Vista 57--Darryl Parker scored 31 points for the host Longhorns (7-8, 3-3), but it wasn’t enough as Mt. Carmel won easily. Shane Knight had 21 points and Ryan Wooten added 18 for top-ranked Mt. Carmel (13-3, 6-0).

Vista 89, Orange Glen 80--Jason Barnes led the way for visiting Vista with 28 points, including four three-pointers. For the game, Vista (4-10, 1-5) made 12 three-pointers to tie a San Diego Section record. Vista made 27 of 29 free throws, including 15 of 15 in the fourth quarter.

Torrey Pines 77, San Dieguito 53--Bart Brandenburg led No. 3 Torrey Pines (17-2, 6-0) with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds. Bill Scheibe added 20. San Dieguito is 7-9, 2-4.

Coastal League

Bishop’s 57, Army-Navy 37--Brian Albers had 21 points and 14 rebounds for host Bishop’s (14-4, 5-0). Army-Navy is 6-9, 2-3.

Nonleague

Christian 56, La Jolla 49 (OT)--Tony Clark had 30 points to lead host Christian (8-7, 2-0).

Patrick Henry 68, Hoover 47--Jason Lonsdale scored 18 points to lead four players in double figures for No. 7 Patrick Henry (15-3).
