Foothill, Mission Viejo Meets Start Saturday

Many of the top swimmers in the Southern Section will compete Saturday in the Foothill Swim Games and the Mission Viejo invitational.
The Foothill meet, which begins at 9 a.m. at Foothill High School, features 21 teams, most of them from Orange County. The top boys’ teams include Capistrano Valley, El Toro, Fountain Valley, Marina and Villa Park. The top girls’ teams will be El Toro, Foothill, Fountain Valley and Los Alamitos.
The Mission Viejo meet will be at the Marguerite Recreation Center, with finals scheduled to start at 2 p.m. Saturday.
