The World Series will start Tuesday, Oct. 16, three days later than originally scheduled, in the home park of the National League champion.
The series was originally scheduled to start Oct. 13, a Saturday, but was set back because of the lockout that delayed the start of the season a week.
This will be the first series since 1984 to start on a weekday.
