Afarian Will Play 2 Sports at Santa Clara
Chris Afarian, who graduated from Notre Dame High in June, will attend Santa Clara in the fall and play football and soccer on a partial athletic scholarship.
Afarian, an All-San Fernando Valley League selection in both sports, converted all eight of his field-goal attempts for the Knights’ football team and connected on each of his 53 extra-point attempts.
Santa Clara competes in NCAA Division I in soccer, Division II in football.
