Chris Palm recorded a hat trick to lead The Master’s College to a 7-0 nonconference soccer victory over Occidental on Wednesday at Master’s.
Randy Whitfield added two goals for Master’s, which improved to 3-4-1. Occidental is 3-2-1.

Cross-country--The score of the boys’ cross-country meet between Camarillo and Rio Mesa highs was incorrectly reported in Thursday’s edition. Camarillo won, 22-34.
WOMEN’S SOCCER
Pomona-Pitzer 2, Cal Lutheran 0--Christine Currie and Laurie Carvajal scored one goal apiece to lead Pomona-Pitzer in a nonconference match at Cal Lutheran.
Occidental 3, Redlands 3 (OT)--Jos Bergmann scored two goals and Marti Anderson added one for Occidental (1-1-1) in a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match at Redlands.
WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL
Occidental d. UC Santa Cruz, 8-15, 15-7, 15-8, 15-9--Amy Sullivan had 18 kills and Leslie Heitler added 34 assists for host Occidental (4-3) in a nonleague match.
BOYS’ CROSS-COUNTRY
Camarillo 26, Rio Mesa 29--Shannon Brusca and Bodie Minster each ran 16 minutes 50 seconds to lead Camarillo in the nonleague meet at Camarillo Grove Park.
BOYS’ WATER POLO
Crespi 16, Crescenta Valley 3--Jean Michel scored seven goals and Vince Greco added four to help the Celts (8-0) to a nonleague victory at Crespi.
GIRLS’ TENNIS
Buena 11, Hart 7--Sacha Pampalone and Buffy Moise swept their four doubles sets to lead host Buena (4-0) to a nonleague win. Megan Flaherty won her four singles sets to lead Hart (1-3).
GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL
Kennedy d. Monroe, 15-0, 15-6, 15-7--Viola Sarkozy had 12 kills and Anna Tinchenko added five blocks for Kennedy (1-1) in a nonleague match at Kennedy.
Taft d. Verdugo Hills, 15-1, 15-5, 15-2--Sarah White had nine kills and Danielle Gallo added 14 aces to lead host Taft (1-0) in a nonleague match.
Sylmar d. Eagle Rock, 15-7, 15-5, 15-5--Griselda Vasquez and Michelle Solono each had 10 kills to lead the Spartans (2-0) to a nonleague victory.
Montclair Prep d. Glendale Academy, 15-7, 15-12, 15-7--Kendra Dousette had nine kills and Maria Cicione had 10 assists to lead the Mounties (3-0) past Glendale Academy (2-1) in a nonleague match.
Cleveland d. Canoga Park, 15-6, 15-5, 15-0--Michele Diana had 10 kills and Kristen Riley added six to lead the host Cavaliers in a nonleague match.
Notre Dame d. Campbell Hall, 15-5, 15-8, 15-7--Mary Strong had seven kills and Shannon Tuttle added 18 assists to lead Notre Dame (1-2) in a nonleague match.
Chaminade d. Calabasas, 15-4, 15-6, 8-15, 15-7--Pam Powers had 15 kills and Sabrina Pozzi had 11 to lead Chaminade.
