You thought the Raiders’ defense was a bit jumpy Sunday while being cited for six encroachment penalties against Kansas City? This week, they face another master of the staggered cadence, Denver Bronco quarterback John Elway.

“The guy we play this week is really good at it, Elway,” Raider Coach Art Shell said Tuesday.

“So, we’ve got to work on that this week. I’m sure they’ll try to use the hard count to get us to jump offside.”
